Default Ann Needs OH’s FMMFM

Name - "official" name and what they were known as – Ann Needs

Date and place of birth – 1789, Hockworthy, Devon

Names of parents – possibly George & Jane Needs (nee unknown) [Family Search] See below

Date and place of baptism – possibly 9 Oct 1796, Burlescombe, Devon [as Ann Gorard Needs] (Family Search)

Details of each of his or her marriages – to Henry Ayshford, 28 April 1811 at Burlescombe, Devon

Occupation(s) - if any

Addresses where they lived (including county if in UK) - and please list which censuses you have or haven't found him/her on (if s/he lived in census times!).
1841 – Elnore, Tiverton, Devon (with husband Henry, children John(20), Harriet (15) & Mary (10) and Charles Needs (25) who must be related but possibly too young to be her brother)
1851 – Quicks Court, Tiverton, Devon (with husband Henry “on parish pay”)


Date, place and cause of death – probably March qtr 1853 Tiverton 5b 318 (as Ashford)

Date and place of burial. - unknown

Details of will / administration of their estate - unknown

Memorial inscription - unknown

If she was born in 1789 and baptised in 1796 and the parents are George Needs and Jane Goard who got married in 1793 then George could be her stepfather rather than her biological father.

If Charles Needs is 25 on the 1841 census that means age 25 - 29 so he could have been born in 1811 so could be her brother (or half-brother if her father had a second wife).
