Default Anyone have any ideas please

My grandfather died in London pre war February 1939 in East Ham I have the death cert. I cannot find his burial anwhere at all in London not even in the no longer used cemeteries, also tried the crems. I also tried Newcastle Upon Tyne which was his home town and he is not up there either. Any suggestions please. xxhugxx

Have you looked in the local paper for that area to see if there was a death notice printed? If there was then it would likely have given details of where the burial or cremation was to be held.

there is a record in High Roding Essex for a Johnn Thorpe died 1939 on findmypast could that be him ??

I doubt it as his death and marriage certs are James Thorpe xxhugxx

Hmm If he was age 56 he could the one who died in Romford district OND 1938 possibly. My James was 49 when he died. xxhugxx
