Have you seen this couple living in Tavistock in 1841:

Samuel Cox, 68, Foundry[?] Man, b Devon
Elzabeth [sic] Cox, 63, b Devon
Betsy Cox, 5, b Devon

Sabrina, thanks for that, no I'd not seen it, wonder how I've missed it on so many occasions? The name often turns up as Cox so I always look under both spelling.
