Date and place of birth - abt 1809, Renfrewshire, Scotland Names of parents - John & Janet Kilpatrick (nee Mills) Date and place of baptism - unknown George sailed to Canada with his parents & siblings aboard the "George Canning" which sailed April 14 1821 and arrived in Quebec on June 1, 1821. Aboard were 490 passengers, many of them members of the "Brigeton Canadian immigration society 1821", a group of Scottish weavers who were part of a Government resettlement project. This group was headed by John Kilpatrick, George's father. Details of each of his marriages - to Mary Edwards, abt 1830, probably in Ontario, Canada Occupation(s) - Weaver, Clothier.
