RAF Operations Record Books 1911-1963 - ancestry
https://www.ancestry.co.uk/search/collections/62280/
As usual with new databases, you may need to refresh the page a few times for it to work. Also it seems to be best to search with just a surname, as the given name is not usually shown. |

It's not working for me at present.
I should be able to find my grandfather and his two brothers, who were all in the Royal Flying Corps. |

Like I said, you may need to refresh the page multiple times to get it to load.

ORB'S don't necessarily mention individuals, apart from possibly Officers. ORB's have been free on TNA website for quite some time

So, even if men weren't mentioned by name, if you know their squadron, it's possible to find what they were involved in and where

But this is searchable by name, well, surname anyway.

My father was in an RAAF squadron, and I know his squadron number, but even searching with just the squadron number and no name, only about 40 names come up, not including his.

My Uncle was in the RAF but searching on his surname, nothing comes up with that name.
