Default 1939 Register

I cannot find Beatrice Mary Pound, born 7th March 1897. It is very frustrating because I have found her husband Albert Pound at 56 Valleyfield Road, Wandsworth; he was born 28th April 1900.

Can anyone find her for me, please? Thank you very much.

Had they got children? I can't tell because they both had the same surname at marriage (I think!). If you know any that were born before 1939 and are dec'd, have you found them?

Thank you, Merry. I don't think they had children but will have to check.
Strangely - not strangely really! - they are together in the electoral register in 1939 in ancestry https://www.ancestry.co.uk/interacti...&usePUBJs=true
- same address in electoral registers up to 1965.

She may have been in hospital, perhaps her name or age was mistanscribed. I found my uncle’s wife in hospital. He and his son were with my grandmother.

Yes, that's a possibility, thank you.
