Name - "official" name and what they were known as John Tyler Date and place of birth 14 Aug 1696 at North Newington, Oxfordshire Names of parents Richard Tyler and Ann née Lamb (that's a different Ann Lamb to the one he married!!) I have often wondered if there was a confusion in the Quaker records which suggested his wife was Ann Lamb, given that's John's mother's name. However, his wife was definitely Ann something and I've not been able to find an alternative marriage.
