Joseph

About 5 lines from the bottom of the page is an almost illegible line in a parish register. The name is Joseph, can anyone read more?

I can read the month of November at the end of the line.

I have downloaded the image and lightened it, but it is still poor.

One part looks like "Dawson of".

I was going to say that it looks like Jonathan Dawson - so snap for the surname, Elizabeth!

Jonathan Dawson is what I wanted it to say. I think Dawson is fairly legible, the rest not so much.

For the baptism of John - presumably first child of first wife - residence is West End.

I'm going to have to trawl the registers for the marriage tomorrow. I'm hoping it wasn't transcribed as it was too hard to read, like Joseph was. I found John and then went looking for John.
