Default Anyone in the Crewe area?

We're on the trail of Charles Dick JP (1838-188). He was deputy mayor of Crewe in 1887 (Jubilee year) and we're looking for a picture of him.

Does anyone know where the archives of the Crewe Chronicle are held?

Thanks

AN

Crewe library's catalogue states they hold copies of the Crewe Chronicle from 1874 to the present day.

No photo, but he sounds a very interesting man

Thanks Muggins - had seen the first but not the second so have sent it on to his gt gt nephew.

We're planning a trip to Crewe or Chester in the new year to go through the local paper.
