Australia WW1 Service Records - ancestry
http://search.ancestry.co.uk/search/db.aspx?dbid=60864
I don't know whether there is anything in there which isn't available free from the National Archives of Australia's website - anybody know, please? |

Looking at my great grandfathers records, I cannot see anything that I did not get from the Australian Archives for free.

I agree, it looks identical to what's already freely available (and thankyou Australia for making it free to see)

I don't think there's anything extra, and there may be some files missing; one of my people has both a service record and a separate court martial file on the NAA site, but the court martial file doesn't appear to be on Ancestry.

I checked one record and it was the exact same service record from the NAA. As it says service records only I think other records will not be there.
