Default Edward West

Edward West was bp 12 December 1714 in Edgefield, Norfolk. He was the eldest son of Edward West and Elizabeth nee Daglas

Edward worked for various employers including Michael Plane in the Edgefield area as a carpenter. In his settlement examination, taken when he was on the point of marriage, it states that he went home at harvest time to help get the harvest in, but his employer continued to be responsible for washing his linen!

Edward married Ann Baxtor 13 October 1741 in Edgefield

Their children were Edward, Mary (who died young) John and another Mary.

I have assumed that Edward was buried 26 September 1780 in Edgefield, but the burial does not note his age.

No will and no surviving gravestone
