John Knights
John Knights turns up in Edgefield, Norfolk from nowhere, marries Abigail Middleton 21 Jan 1737
They have five children bp in Edgefield up to 1748. Two are called Samuel. John is buried 29 October 1751 in Edgefield. Future generations bear the name Samuel, and I note that that Freereg has a family in Sidestrand of the right period to include John somewhere. a Samuel Knights of Sidestrand has his will proved 1762/3. He could be John's father or brother. To be pursued... No survivng gravestone or will for John. His occupation is not known, but quite probably worstead weaver.
