Hello Merry, It's been a while since I contacted you. I have the death certificate of my 4x great grand father William Allen, who married Sarah Ames, He died 14.2.1843 in Butchers Row,Dam Street. Lichfield, His sister in law Elizabeth Wright nee Ames was in attendance. He is down as a Gentleman. He was buried on 18.2.1843 at Lichfield. I also have access to the original entries for Burton upon Trent. I have the Allen's and Astle's.
Best wishes
