Default NSW BMD index

Before the above site was restyled they showed the date range available for births, marriages and deaths. I can't see this information any more - can anyone tell me the most resent year I can search for each category?

Merry, for births the time is over 100 years ie. you should be able to see births up to and including 16 September, 1914.
For marriages it's over 50 years - so 16 September,1964 and deaths over 30 years - 16 September 1984.

Try this..

http://www.bdm.nsw.gov.au/cgi-bin/In...ionID=29772748

or for marriages..

http://www.bdm.nsw.gov.au/cgi-bin/In...itBtnOnce.y=15

You can't skip from one to the other as it just takes you back to the new search.

I have just received a link (http://nswtranscriptions.com.au/obje...rm=Read%20More) to a notice of improvements to the NSW BDM search site - why they did not trial this with a group of users who would have made exactly these suggestions before they released it to the public I have no idea. IT people ! they still think they know better than everyone else !

Maybe it will be easier to use and actually work better now and I can see some of the future improvements will help. But I don't know what they are doing about the cost or turnaround time, which are outrageous at the moment.
