Default Can anyone find these in 1911

Robert Elvin born 1881 married Margaret Ferguson born ca 1883 in 1902 Glasgow.

So far I only know of two children (twins) James Ferguson Elvin and Annie Ferguson Elvin born 1908 Bell Street, Bridgeton, Glasgow.

Can't find them on the 1911 census, can anyone else?

Thanks

Do you know if they are likely to be in Scotland? If so, the only way to find them will be through searching on Scotland's People.

As far as I known they stayed in Scotland. I know that JFE moved and married in Co Durham 1940.

I've searched on SP but can't find them.

I had a look on SP, too, but drew a blank. There is, however, a public tree on Ancestry which gives 19 January 1949 for Robert Elvin's death in Shettleston, Glasgow.

If you leave surname blank and search for forename James Ferguson, age range 2 to 2, second person forename Margaret, it comes up with 1 match but then it comes up with 0 matches for second person forename Robert or Annie. County is Lanarkshire but district isn't Bridgeton. Also adding in Elvin for the surname and choosing broad metaphone or traditional soundex comes up with no matches, so could be a red herring.

One of the public trees on ancestry shows Robert and Margaret having another child John born 1910, but doesn't give his place of birth. Another one says they had a child Ellen Herald Elvin born 12 Dec 1903 in Bridgeton.

There is a birth registration for a John Elvin in 1910 in Calton, Glasgow.

Thanks both. I don't have Ancestry at the mo so that extra info is useful.
