Default Centres holding a complete set of GRO indexes

A list of sites holding GRO birth, marriage, death, civil partnership, adoption and overseas indexes-

•Birmingham Central Library
•Bridgend Local and Family History Centre
•City of Westminster Archives Centre
•Manchester City Library
•Newcastle City Library
•Plymouth Central Library
•The British Library

Thank you, Muggins. Glad you checked. I do remember using the indexes at the LMA... just before they were withdrawn.

Given the cheapness of fiche, I really don't understand why they are not more widely available.

Manchester City Library was due to reopen TODAY (22nd March 2014). I assume it has but maybe people would want to check it definitely has before making a trip.
