I don't know much about this couple. They had six children baptised at Medmenham, Buckinghamshire - William 1796, John 1797, Maria 1799, Joseph 1802, Thomas 1803 and Sophia and 1804.

John was a labourer in 1798

There is a John Webb buried in Medmenham in 1836 aged 66, which might well be my chap but Mary isn't there.

There is marriage on the IGI for a John Webb and Mary Rance in 1793 - three different dates and two parishes Medmenham and Great Marlow. But there is a couple of the same names baptising children at Marlow - James in 1794, Ann later in 1794, Ann in 1796, Sarah in 1801, Robert in 1803 and Alexander in 1805. There must be some sort of crossover.

My ancestor is Joseph baptised at Medmenham in 1802. His children were James, Alexander, Mary Anne, Sophia Maria and Jeremiah, so there are names link to the group of baptisms in both parishes.

There are some Webb wills at Great Marlow so will have a look about
