All known children born/baptised in Gussage St Michael, Dorset between 1764 & 1777 Date, place and cause of death – 1814, probably in Dorset Date and place of burial - unknown Details of will / administration of their estate – Will written 19 June 1812. I have a copy which names some of his children (possibly those still living?), but not his wife. Memorial inscription – unknown Son Henery Millard

Their - James & Sarah - monumental inscriptions are recorded on the OPC site. (For some reason, Ancestry doesn't have post 1812 burials)

Given that James Millard had inherited property in Bruton Somerset from James Allen, do you suppose that he might have originated from there?

Thanks Phoenix, I'll have a look at the OPC site.
I did wonder about a possible Somerset connection but Millard appears to be a mostly Dorset name. Needs further investigation though.
