Martha seems to have been baptised at West Wycombe, 21 Aug 1757, daughter of William and Martha. There are four children baptised at West Wycombe namely Thomas, Lucy Elizabeth and Mary.

There is a William Hawkins in West Wycombe in 1798 who is a papermaker.
