He helpfully mentions his eldest son John was born to his wife prior to their marriage and names each of his children John, Moses, Mary, Thomas, Francis, and Samuel, and mentions the child his wife was expecting at the time of writing the will (who was Richard, only lived for a few months) and provided for any subsequent children (Sarah, born 1759)
