In the newsletter, the following is mentioned:

Scottish records on view in Kilmarnock

I can now tell you of a third location where it is possible to view unlimited Scotlandspeople records for a fixed fee of £15 per day - the Burns Monument Centre in Kilmarnock. Are there any other locations, I wonder?

There are four locations that I know of where you can view unlimited SP records:
1) Scotlands People Centre, Edinburgh.
2) Mitchell Library, Glasgow.
3) Hawick.
4) Kilmarnock.

Other councils have applied to have remote access to the records.

In addition to the £15 fee, you have to pay extra to print any records. You can save the records to a USB stick, but there is also a fee for doing this. Credits you may already have on SP can be transferred to pay the day search fee or for printing/saving records.

And a word of warning, not all the records are available in Glasgow, Hawick and Kilmarnock. None of the Catholic records are available.
