There is a Joseph Benwell, son of William and Elizabeth, baptised 10 Jun 1725 at Kingsbury, Warwickshire:
Warks PRs ancestry

The surname isn't very clear.

Hi Kite

Familysearch has transcribed it as BARWELL, but has also recorded it as BARNALD on a baptism.

There is also a Hampton-in-Arden baptism in 1715 of a Joseph Barnwell - he would have been 36 when he married and 74 when he died. Hampton in Arden is the next parish to Meriden.

The Nightingales appear to have come south from Kingsbury to Corley/Meriden so I would not be surprised if the Barnwells' did too. But there's a Joseph Barwell buried in Kingsbury in 1744, so maybe not our man.

There are also Barnwells buried in Dunchurch (see Susannah Bucknall) and Hampton in Arden and Bucknalls buried in Corley (next to Allesley and Meriden), just to confuse the issue.

Some ages on burials would be a big help, but the NBI does not give ages for burials in these time frames
