Default John Saunders & Elizabeth Saunders

John Saunders of the parish of Nuffield, Oxfordshire and Elizabeth (X) Saunders of the parish, bachelor and spinster married at Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire 11th Apr 1756. Witnesses were Stephen Bacon and Edward Hearne (a regular).

They had three sons and two daughters baptised between December 1756 and 1776 at Nuffield, Oxfordshire.

John was probably a labourer of course - his son and sons-in-law were.

Elizabeth was buried 19th Aug 1806 at Nuffield, no age recorded.

John was buried at Nuffield 20th Feb 1814 aged 85, so born c1729.
