Default Eleanor Thomas & George Jenkins

Eleanor Thomas was born about 1743 (age at burial). She married firstly Edward Hughes a servant/ porter - marriage bond 11 Apr 1766 London and the marriage probably took place at Christ Church Greyfriars Newgate Street. Eleanor was of the parish of St Dunstan in the West and Edward of Christ Church Middlesex. There was a son baptised at St Giles Cripplegate in 1766 and a daughter baptised in 1769 at St Bride Fleet Street. Edward died in 1769 and was buried at St Bride Fleet Street.

Eleanor married secondly George Jenkins, a widower, 26 Apr 1772 at St Giles Cripplegate, witnesses John Creek and Letitia Creek. Two children were baptised at St Bride Fleet Street in 1773 and 1774, one at St James Clerkenwell in 1775, another in 1781 at St Luke Old Street and an eight year old son in 1786 at St James Clerkenwell.

I haven't identified a previous marriage or any children or a burial for George Jenkins but he was dead by 1798.

Eleanor died in 1816 and was buried in Bunhill Fields 24 Jul 1816 aged 73, address 2 Curtain Road
