Malam/Earl marriage 1857
If there is anyone who has access to Findmypast marriages would they mind taking a look at the marriage of George Earl and Eliza Mallam, 1857,St. John the Evangelist, Smith Square, Middlesex.
I am trying to make out the witnesses names. My interpretation is George Crowton and Mary A Hartford, but would like to see what anyone else thinks. Thanks. |

I would agree with you, Sue. The second one is more difficult, though.

Thanks Elizabeth, do you think by any stretch of the imagination it could be Herbert?

It looks like Shortland to me. Back to see if I can make it Hartford!

Looking at it again, I think you are right.
