FMP has an Edward Howard buried at Leake in 1837, age 70, but he's too young unless the age is wrong. They also have a monumental inscription for an Edward Howard at Old Leake, 1811, but no details.

Google comes up with an entry from Lincs to the Past showing a "probate inventory" for Edward Howard of Old Leake dated 1811, but I can only see it in Google's cache as Lincs to the Past won't load, so I don't know whether the actual inventory would be available to view online.

Thanks for looking, Kite. I tried Lincs to the Past last night and it wouldn't load for me either.

There is a message on there now saying:
We are experiencing problems with the Lincs To The Past site which means it is currently unavailable

We are working to resolve these problems and get the site back up and running as soon as possible.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
