I wonder if this is the marriage:

Year:1752
Supplied Surname:Hyland
Surname:Hyland
Full First name:Patrick

Supplied First Name:Patrick
Spouse Surname:Lynch
Spouse Full First name:Ann
Spouse First Name:Ann
Place:St James Spanish Place (RC)
County:Middlesex
Record source:Boyd's Marriage Index 1538-1840
Data provider:Society of Genealogists

But this shows an RC couple.

I discounted this one because of the gap between the marraige and children being born and if it was the right marraige, Ann would have been having children in her fifties.

Lindsay hadn't put any dates on this thread, but when you look at Patrick's thread it seems the first child she has was born in 1763.

1752 is only 11 years earlier so I though it worth throwing in, but if Ann was still having children late into the 1780s not such a likelihood.

Thanks for looking, Elizabeth. I'd discounted this one because of the dob I have for Patrick (1741) but it's such an unusual name I'd kept it in the 'maybe' list.

(sorry for leaving the dates out - that's what come of not engaging brain before posting!)
