Default john merrick b 1689 Llandinabo,Herefordshire

Hiya...if anyone is free...can they try and find JOAN Merrick maiden name please

William Merrick b 1676 Llandinabo (all born in Llandinabo )
Margarett b 1679 21st feb
Thomas b 1682 17th jan
Alice b 1685 3rd may
JOHN MERRICK b 1689 14th sept ....he married Ann Jeffs

all these children are the children of John Merrick and JOAN MERRICK...don`t know where they were from and what Joans maiden name was ....all the above baptisms are on familysearch....
I can only presume John and Joan the parents were born and married in Herefordshire - but realistically they could have been from anywhere...probably married 1650-1660 ??

thanks for any help ...allan
ADDED....forgot to say JOHN MERRICK b 1689 and JOHN MERRICK the father / JOAN are my direct ancestors .....
allan

There is a book of parish register transcriptions available on the Internet Archive:
http://archive.org/details/registerbooksll00parrgoog

It is also on Google books but I could only get snippets on there, whereas I could read the whole book on Internet Archive. The following entries may be relevant:
Llandinabo
Mary d of John & Marie Meyrick bap 7 Apr 1655
Elizabeth d of John & Marie Merrick bap 14 Dec 1659
Mary w of John Merricke bur 17 Aug 1662
Mary d of John & Mary Merrick bap Sept 4 1665, bur 11 Sep 1665
Anne d of John & Mary Merrick bap 21 Jun 1668
Mary w of John Merricke bur 28 Jul 1671
William s of John & Joan Merricke bap 21 Dec 1676
Margrett d of John & Joan Merrick bap 21 Feb 1678
Thomas s of John & Joan Merrick, bap at Lanwarne 17 Jan 1681
Alice d of John & Joan Merrick bap 3 May 1685
John s of John & Joan Merrick, bap 14 Sep 1689
John Merrick bur 5 May 1690
John Lewis of Pencoyde & Joane Merrick of this prsh m 18 June 1693
John Merrick and Anne Jeffs m 27 Jan 1716

Pencoyd
Alice w of John Meyrick of Llandinabo bur at Pencoyd 9 May 1653

I'm not sure how many John Merricks there are here, but it could be that the one who was Joan's husband died in 1690 and then Joan married John Lewis in 1693. Also it doesn't look as though John and Joan got married at Llandinabo or Pencoyd, but of course there could be some entries that got lost. If John was previously married to the Mary who died in 1671 then John and Joan's marriage should be between 1671 and 1676.

That can happen if you get something stuck underneath the space bar, Allan. Can you see if there's an insect that's crawled under there, or a crumb or grains of salt or something? Maybe you can turn the keyboard upside down and gently shake it.

Anyway, good luck with finding what you're looking for!
