No Shona because it was North Shields in Northumberland. I'll add the county.
Even the OPR marriage didn't give any details of parents only the names of the bride & groom of this parish. I have a feeling that perhaps his family travelled to the Appleby Horse Trials but he was christened back in Berwick but have no proof of my theory.
