born 08 Apr 1777 parents John Higho, watchmaker, & Sarah nee Woodward baptised 11 May 1777, St Luke's Old Street, London marriage to Elizabeth Greenall 06 Dec 1798 St. James, Clerkenwell, London 16 Mar 1807 Jno Higho, citizen & haberdasher duty paid apprentice Jno Roper Known children were all baptised St. Luke's Old Street, London and 1815 baptism gives family address as St. Paul's Alley. Occupation: Although he was a pensioner at Aske's Almshouses, and apprentice records show him as a haberdasher, its interesting to note that his father and his son-in-law Joseph Denison were both watchmakers. 1825 John and E. Higho [presumably his wife Elizabeth] witnessed marriage of daughter Caroline Sarah Higho to Joseph James Denison 20 Nov 1840 first mention of John Higho at Aske's Almshouses, Hoxton where he is recorded as being ill. 1841 John Higho, 60 [age inaccurate] is listed as a pensioner at Aske's Almshouses in Shoreditch.
