Update: William's death cert:
William Harding died 17 May 1839 at the Workhouse, Eastington, age 81. Cause of death old age. Informant William Sutton, Master of the Workhouse, Eastington, 21 May 1939.

[how disappointing - I had hoped one of William's children would be the informant. I've a few rellies who ended up at Eastington Workhouse.]

FreeREG has a burial for a William Harding at St Andrew, Chedworth, 20 May 1839, age 83. Which would mean he was born about 1755-6. If it is the right person. The likely death registration is William Harding, Apr-Jun 1839 Northleach vol 11 p 263.

OOOHH! Thanks KiteRunner. It's a long time since I've looked at William. That looks promising.
