Default 1851 census, what is this word?

I have found (I think) my 4x G grandfather in the 1851 census. Can anybody read what the word is before 'late Tailor' in his occupation please?

David Phillips, b abt 1776, Monk Sherbourne, Hampshire. Living in St Clement Dane Almhouses, Streatham, London.

He is the 3rd name down on this page.

Thank you
