Default Lancashire (Manchester) records - FamilySearch

It says these were added on 22nd May.

I have tested one out and they have the baptism of one of the children of my great-grandfather's brother. Hopefully the others are there!

I'm not convinced how new they are yet as I already had this information.

Yes, finally! I have found the baptism (image) of my great-grandfather Joseph Alexander at St James, Heywood. I had the details but now the image makes it complete.

Edit: I had to browse the images as it didn't come up when I searched.

They've just been updated, apparently; the collection has been there for ages.

I have been able to find images for quite a few baptisms, Mary, but unfortunately the children that died young don't seem to have been buried at the same church where they were baptised. I can't find any adult burials either.

Hi, its great news for me - I knew my great great grandparents had more children, who had died before the 1911 census, and now I have found their baptisms and some marriages I did not know about !! With luck I will now be able to find their births and deaths on freebmd and burials in the Manchester on-lien records.

Seems to be at lot for St Phillip, St Martin, and St George in Mancehster, St Luke in Miles Platting so far.

Diane
