Could Nellie be Susan LOL - Genealogists' Forum

I have a Girl Susan born in Hackney May 1901 who I cannot find on the 1911 census but found her Mother by herself.
Have looked under the likely surnames ?? her Mother was not married although she has the Fathers name on the Birth Cert ,well I am wondering now if she could be the girl called Nellie aged 9 living with her Grandparents ?
Would you say this is likely I suppose anything is possible, and I dont know who this Nellie is otherwise.

It's possible, of course. Is her birthplace Hackney on the 1911 census and have you looked to see if there are any other possible birth registrations (or baptism entries) for Nellie?

hi Kite yes yes she is down as born in Hackney and I cannot find this Susan anywhere on there .
There are a couple of probable Nellies I believe , its a while since I checked .

Does her birth certificate say Hackney? My mother and siblings were born in Stoke Newington which is in Hackney registration district.

My Dad was born at 165 Stoke Newington High Street.
