Grandparents of Jane Galloway 1803-1878, High Paisley
Jane Galloway of High Paisley was born to William Galloway & Jane Gordon in 1803. I have no further information about her parents or grandparents, and wondering if someone can help. I don't know when her parents married, nor do I know if she had any other siblings.
She was known as Jeanie Galloway. Both parents (William & Jane) were deceased at the time of Jane's marriage in 1878.

Mary, sorry. Jane Galloway (Jnr) the one born in 1803, first married on 22 Feb 1824 Paisley aged 23 to Peter Grieve (a Shawl Weaver) and then on 18 Aug 1856 to Thomas Andrew (also a Shawl Weaver)
Her parents were both Warpers and her parents William and Jane Galloway (formerly Gordon) were both deceased at the time of her (Jane Andrew's) death on 3 January 1878 aged 74.

Rang daughter - she says I've asked her that before - we must have got it from the IGI records. I'm looking now, but can only get births as they are having technical difficulties.

I can't see the marriage on Scotlandspeople; the only one for a couple with the right names is in 1848.
