Family History Exhibition - Nottinghamshire

Just thought that if anyone is in the area they might find it interesting to go to St Pauls' Church Barkestone- Le-Vale where there is an exhibition all this week from 12 -16 October 2009 of the family tree for the people from there and neighbouring villages such as Redmile.

It's on all week from 10am to 6pm daily and is an excellent example of the interlinking families of small villages.

Sheila Marriott who masterminds the event and who has done all of the research has a database of 35,000 names that cover many names of Nottinghamshire. She is very willing to share her research and I have her email address if anyone wants it.

Even though I have no connection to this area I found the whole thing really fascinating.
