Born 6 February 1791, youngest daughter of John Knights & Mary Nee West.
Baptised Edgefield. Father buried 12 February 1811 aged 71. Illegitimate son Edmund bp 1813. Married Edmund Skillings 12 Oct 1813. In 1840, three of her sons: Edmund, James & Samuel emigrated to Canada. In 1841, the cottage opposite the rectory contained Edmund & Elizabeth, Elizabeth's mother Mary Knights, Edmunds recently widowed mother Rachel Skillings, numerous children and baby grandson Edmund Albert Skillings. In 1851 - 1871 they are in the same cottage. Elizabeth died in Thornage in the 1870s, a few months after her husband. No will and no gravestone.
