Licence questions
I've come across this on FMP -
Year of Marriage: 1702 Last Name: Crosly First Name: Josiah Supplied First Name: Josiah Spouse's Last Name: Palmer Spouse's First Name: Marth Spouse's Supplied First Name: Marth Place: Vicar General Marriage Licences Record source: Boyd's 1st Misc Series 1538-1775 Data provider: Society of Genealogists Do I have to go to the SoG in Clerkenwell or is there another way of getting hold of it and what information is it likely to give? I don't know if I've ever had a Vicar General licence before :s |

The SoG only have the index, but this page has information about the original documents:

Thank you Chris - I'm hoping to find something out about the bride's family - I suspect she was about 16 so there might be. Looking around, if I understand it right, I can order a copy of the film at an LDS centre.
