Mary Ann HIGHLAND / HYLAND
Yet another one I'm not sure about.
This is the TOGG3 link to her (probable) son, Henry Johnson: http://genealogistsforum.co.uk/forum...=henry+johnson. The reason I've got Mary Ann Highland pencilled in as his mother (apart from the fact that dates and places match, and the Highlands, like the Johnsons, were weavers) is that Henry killed himself on 22 March, which would be the day before his birthday. But a name like Johnson makes it hard to be sure. Name - "official" name and what they were known as Mary Ann Highland / Hyland Date and place of birth 11 April 1771 Holywell Street Shoreditch Middlesex. There is a Mary Ann Highland death in St Pancras Dec 1771 which might or might not be the same Mary Ann Names of parents Patrick Highland and Ann Date and place of baptism - if applicable 14 April 1771 St Leonard Shoreditch Details of each of his or her marriages - if any 21 April 1794 at Christ Church Spitalfields to Thomas Johnson Occupation(s) - if any Addresses where they lived (including county if in UK) - and please list which censuses you have or haven't found him/her on (if s/he lived in census times!). Four children - Richard, Ann, George and Henry born in Bethnal Green. Middlesex Date, place and cause of death Date and place of burial. Details of will / administration of their estate - if applicable Memorial inscription - if any All unknown Last edited by Lindsay; 09-09-11 at 18:26. |
