Default John Beard (OH’s FFFFMF....possibly!)

Not sure if I should post this or not. The baptism & marriage are taken from a public tree on Ancestry, although his baptism is listed on Family Search. Also listed on Family Search are the baptisms of his daughter Elizabeth and other children, but he does seem rather old to be fathering children in the late 1790s and early 1800s. Maybe I have skipped a generation?

Name - "official" name and what they were known as – John Beard

Date and place of birth – abt 1727, Devon

Details of each of his or her marriages – to Mary Whitefield on 29 March 1785, Bratton Fleming, Devon

Addresses where they lived (including county if in UK) - and please list which censuses you have or haven't found him/her on (if s/he lived in census times!).
Six children were baptised in Bratton Fleming, Devon between 1788 & 1802.

This is the link to his daughter Elizabeth's thread.

FreeREG has a John Beard burial in Bratton Fleming 29 May 1816, age 55, so born about 1760-1, who I would think more likely to be Elizabeth's father.
