Default How to prove if he is mine or not?

In my tree I have a Benjamin Goulson abt 1779, Woolsthorpe, near Grantham, Lincs.
I know nothing more about him but have just found a marriage, census and death and wonder what you all think, do they match my man or are they the details of someone else? It's the leap from Woolsthorpe to Coningsby that has me wondering.

Have you looked at the marriage on Lincs to the Past, Glen? Benjamin Goulson of this parish and Sarah Elmitt of this parish were married in this church (Coningsby) by Licence 7 Sep 1807, witnesses William Jackson (I think) and John Clark.

I wonder whether the licence info is available.

William Jackson married Mary Elmitt in 1804 in Coningsby, and I can't see a John Clark marrying an Elmitt or a Goulson on FamilySearch.

I think the licence could be the only option, though it's a one off venue for the family as far as I know, his father died when he was still young, I haven't traced his mother's death yet and the dates mean he can't be found with rellies on a census.

The blacksmith & vet trades fit with other family.

An aunt married a Clark a few years earlier, maybe not the same family but...........

Sarah Goulson
Spouse: Thomas Clark
Marriage: 22 JUN 1774 Ropsley, Lincoln, England Messages:
Extracted marriage record

And maybe a son?
name: Thomas Clark
gender: Male
baptism/christening date: 03 Dec 1776
baptism/christening place: KIRKBY-LA-THORPE,LINCOLN,ENGLAND
father`s name: Thomas Clark
mother`s name: Sarah
