Exclamation Ancestry ~ removing 'Recent Activity'

HELP ~ is there a way of removing a couple of my searches from the 'Recent Activity' section ?

this tells you what to do Rachel you need to go to site preferences and untick the boxes

Right go to
Home page then
Learn More then scroll down to
Scroll down to Research activities
Then update your settings
and untick the boxes

I've drowned them so they don't show on my homepage and think I'll just have to wait a week for them to vanish from the 'see more' list
