Not sure how likely you are to find a relly, but worth a try:

Oh yes, I've found my 2xg-grandfather in the Military Campaign medal rolls. I have seen transcriptions before and it may be available on other websites but if you have an ancestry sub, definitely worth a look.

I've found my GG Grandfather, but There is no image. Is it just the list of names or should there be an imge?

By the way, I should have said the indexes are free even if you don't have a sub.

William Pannell (1789-1848), he served in the Peninsular War and it gives which battles he fought in.
Googled for the battles and found this very interesting site: http://www.britishbattles.com

This database isn't available anywhere else online - quite a major resource. Trouble is, I can't view the images! I click on the "View image" and nothing happens. Perhaps they'll have it sorted by tomorrow.

I can't see the images either. It keeps telling me its done but it doesn't show.

Also noticed several of mine were duplicated so probably that's the problem.

I can see the images on the Naval and DCM databases but not on the Military Campaign Medals one.

Thought Mr McCusker would feature somewhere!

I've just viewed my granda's Military Campaign medal roll so it looks like the images are back.

I just had to install the Advanced viewer before I could see the image. Haven't need to use it before.

OOH thank you Wendy - it works now! I hate the Advanced viewer though - it's sooo slow.

Did you download the enhanced viewer? As soon as I did I got to see the images.
