I'm having a wonderful time ploughing through the new Leicestershire records on FMP, but some of the handwriting in the older records is a bit challenging.
This marriage licence dates from 1613, and I can get most of it, but there are a couple of things I can't decipher.
It basically says a marriage licence is granted to William Shuttlewood of Thurcaston, yeoman and Jocosa (Joyce) Aston [of the same place?]. It then refers to Thomas Stafford of Thurcaston and another Shuttlewood (or the same one?). Can anyone work out in what capacity they're mentioned?
