She is the FMMMF lol

I didn't put my father, grandmother, great grandmother in as I have all that information. I don't know gggm's father.

Julie - my gggmother (Anne) came to Aust. in the Star of Brunswick 1862.

Her children that we know of are

Mary Gleeson b abt 1832 Tipperary
Anne Gleeson b 1839 Ireland
Eliza Gleeson b 1840 Ennis, County Clare
Kathleen Frances Gleeson b 1842 Ennis, County Clare

There could be more.

So do you mean you are trying to find out the name of Anne Tierney's father, Jood?

Yes I am - that's where I'm stuck. I don't know much about Anne Tierney and her husband Michael George Gleeson when they were in Ireland - as far as I know they are both irish. Don't have their birth or death dates or parents.

That is really all I want to know - who her father was (and mother if possible) - when she was married and where.

So the entry should read:

Mr Tierney

Name - "official" name and what they were known as
Unknown Tierney
Date and place of birth
Unknown
Names of parents
unknown
Date and place of baptism - if applicable
Unknown
Details of each of his or her marriages - if any
Unknown
Occupation(s) - Unknown
Addresses where they lived (including county if in UK) - and please list which censuses you have or haven't found him/her on (if s/he lived in census times!). -
Date, place and cause of death Unknown
Date and place of burial.Unknown
Details of will / administration of their estate - if applicable Unknown
Memorial inscription - if any - Unknown

All I know is he was the father of Ann(e) Tierney who was born about 1817 Ireland.

Or would you rather I move this thread onto the Research board with a question like "can you help me find out more about Anne Tierney and her parents?"

Can she not do both Kate? That way when she fills in the research thread, she can then go on with the above. I'm going to see if we can find shipping and death certs here.

I'll leave it to you Kiterunner - either change to Mr, or move to another thread. Sorry for the confusion - I can see what I did wrong now

I'm off to bed now - thanks for your help.

Okay, I've moved this onto the Research board and made a "Mr Tierney" thread on the TO3G board.
