I don't know if this website has been mentioned before, but I have found lots of family on it today.

This database was last updated: 15/07/2012 19:59 and currently contains 819178 people from: 149653 baptism records 50428 marriage records 163848 burial records 404826 census records (individual rows on a census)

That's a great site, Elizabeth. I haven't found anyone yet, but it covers a lot of areas I'm potentially interested in. It's very easy to use too. Thanks.

http://www.calverley.info/ It's an amazing resource if you have people from that area. Edited to add - just spotted that you can get to the rest of the site from the vital records bit. Just ignore me, it's been a long day...
