This mew match has to be a 'half' and I'm not convinced there's anyone more closely related to me than she is but the mother of her name swapping illegitimate grandfather is the issue. She could (probably did),) have kids with four or five men hence so many surnames in my matches.
The fact none match my maternal 1c1r's and a lack of matches for any of us through a male ancestor is what I am struggling with, I can't fathom if my mother is an NPE or there's just no testers coming forward. If one of my maternal half sibs would test it would be a huge help but that's never going to happen in my lifetime.
