Having looked at both threads, were the banns to Elizabeth Rose or just Elizabeth? Did she have a parish on the banns? If Putney, that's where the marriage should have been.
Was Thomas Thomas Charles throughout? What were the children's names? Thomas sure as hell was dodging about, but as a carpenter he might well be. Have you looked at any ESFHS poor law indexes? We have masses on Lambeth. He might have been examined when he married.

Thanks for looking Phoenix.
The Banns were read at St Mary, Putney 16th, 23rd and 30th March 1794. Thomas Charles Sadd and Elizabeth Rose Greenwood. Bachelor and Spinster, both of this Parish. Their children were, Thomas 1795, William 1797, Elizabeth 1799, Eleanor 1801, Sarah 1802. In all the baptisms except William's the parents are given as Thomas Charles and Elizabeth Rose. Elizabeth Rose died in 1804 and Thomas Charles in 1809 and I have wondered what happened to the children but am not sure where to look! Would the Poor Law indexes help there too? I haven't looked at any Poor Law indexes. Are the ESFHS available on line or do I need to contact the Society? A very nice lady there checked some baptisms (different family)for me recently!

So that part of the family is nicely solid, just a question of whether your ancestor was one of their daughters.
You'd need to contact the Society again. Probably the same nice lady! This is the page: http://www.eastsurreyfhs.org.uk/ling...m#Full_details and if you click on sources, you can see there is quite a lot for Lambeth.

Many thanks again Phoenix!
I'll contact the FHS about Sadds in Lambeth and also see if there are any marriages in Putney.
