RAF Service Records - fndmypast

WW1 RAF Officer's Service Records 1912-1920

RAF Airmen's Service Records 1912-1939

I am confused as to how the airmen's records go up to 1939? I thought that those records would not be publicly available yet? But it doesn't seem to include anyone born after 1914.
