It should be interesting. I have just read North and South by Elizabeth Gaskell which was edited and published by Charles Dickens who also suggested the title. It is dated about 1860 and it is interesting in the story they can't find a servant to clean the floors as the girls prefer the higher wages at the mill. The men also don't want to leave for farm work.
